Asian triple-A outsourcing powerhouse, Winking Studios, has successfully completed the acquisition of China-based Mineloader.
The deal is valued at a substantial £16.3 million, which translates to about $19.87 million. This amount includes an immediate payment of $14.7 million, with the remaining balance to be disbursed over the next five years, contingent upon Mineloader’s achievement of specific performance targets from their headquarters in Shanghai.
Established in 2003, Mineloader specializes in art outsourcing and has carved out a niche in this sector.
Winking Studios’ CEO and founder, Johnny Jan, expressed the significance of the acquisition: “This is our biggest purchase to date and signifies a crucial advancement in our strategy to strengthen our foothold in the global video games arena. It unleashes a wealth of opportunities for expansion and creativity.”
