Currently, details on Space Marine 3 are sparse, but what we do know from Saber is that it will feature both a campaign and a multiplayer mode. Space Marine 2 concluded in a way that practically rolls out the red carpet for a sequel. Commander Titus, our steadfast hero, wraps up his clash with Chaos and the Tyranids victoriously. He then sets off on another adventure with Marneus Calgar, the Ultramarines Chapter Master. What’s more, Titus also squares off against Chaos cultists in a particularly daring mission from the Secret Level anthology by Amazon.
As we look back, the first two Space Marine installments follow a familiar pattern: they kick off with an alien menace—first the Orks, then the Tyranids—only to unveil a hidden threat in the form of Chaos Space Marines, like The Chosen of Nemeroth and the Thousand Sons. While it’s a bit early to start speculating on the villains we might encounter in Space Marine 3, there were intriguing hints at the end of Space Marine 2. Particularly notable was the Necron technology, suggesting they might just enter the fray in the next chapter of this saga.
