Nintendo Releases Update – March 13, 2025 – Announcements

Last week slipped by with hardly a mentionable event, apart from the Archives featuring Vs Mystery Tower, the arcade take on the Famicom’s Mystery Tower.

Today heralds the tenth anniversary of two significant milestones for me: moving into my current apartment and starting my writing journey at NWR, thanks to Neal’s offer. So what’s in store this week? Perhaps a re-release of the timeless Chrono Trigger, or maybe the preload for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition—although that’s slated for Thursday. Or perhaps a quirky version of MLB 2025 where the Toronto Blue Jays channel the legendary 1927 Yankees—not quite, as early access for that is out Friday, and sadly, the Jays aren’t the powerhouse in this edition. So, what does this week offer?

Honestly, not much is capturing my attention, except for the European release of the new adventure game On Your Tail. It’s uncertain if it will make its way here. Meanwhile, Japan is seeing a wave of comic apps. For those of you still holding out hope for Silksong, maybe Fate: Reawakened will pique your interest.

North America

Here’s what’s launching:

• Fate: Reawakened priced at $24.99 in the US, $31.99 in Canada, arriving Wednesday.
