Each one has a five-tier progression system, boasting unique bonuses that make them stand out. As they climb levels, gaining experience becomes a tougher task, so it’s wise to rotate among your Synths often. This strategy will help you unlock more abilities and maximize their potential.

Take the “Psitek” Synth, for instance. It starts off with the handy skill to ignite torches. By level three, it learns to demolish projectiles with a flame slash—a vital skill in some dungeons. However, its higher-level bonuses mostly focus on combat enhancement. So you might want to switch to another Synth if you’re aiming for new abilities without grinding for more experience.

Early on, you’ll acquire a boat left behind by the scientists—your gateway to exploring the Genesis Archipelago. This vast collection of small islands holds secret treasures like extra hearts, items that boost stats, and currency to spend in stores.
