Last week, RuneScape: Dragonwilds made an impressive splash as it secured the second spot among the top earners on Steam. This game, which hit the market on April 15th, has already captivated a peak audience of 52,641 simultaneous players, according to figures from SteamDB. It’s a fresh release from Jagex, and the numbers clearly show it’s off to a strong start.
Meanwhile, Counter-Strike 2 maintained its dominance as the top-grossing title for another week. On the flip side, Schedule 1 slipped down to third place, nudged out by the successful launch of RuneScape: Dragonwilds. The Steam Deck managed to hold onto its position at number four.
In a notable comeback, the action RPG Last Epoch made it back into the top ten, soaring 76 places to claim the fifth spot. This resurgence is largely due to the excitement surrounding its second season of content. Following close behind, the co-op horror adventure REPO held its ground in sixth place.
Meanwhile, Marvel Rivals saw a slight dip, falling four spots to number seven. On the other hand, Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian enjoyed a small boost, climbing one position, thanks in part to an ongoing discount that continues to draw in players.
Tempest Rising, which is viewed as a spiritual successor to Command and Conquer, entered the chart at number ten—even amidst some technical hiccups at its launch.

1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Jagex
