“Reminiscing about The Sims’ origins and replaying its initial versions has helped us reconnect with the franchise’s core,” Gibson shares. Each developer has their personal favorites from The Sims saga, and sharing these with players as part of the anniversary is immensely rewarding.”

“The original game was not easy, and failure was a familiar friend,” Gibson recalls. “A signature element was its blend of humor and challenge, allowing players to dictate their narrative while the game playfully pushed back.”
