Good news for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium users this year! Subscribers will get access to four exciting games right from their release, thanks to the Game Catalog perk. Among these titles is the much-anticipated multiplayer first-person shooter from Remedy Entertainment, FBC: Firebreak, now targeting a Summer 2025 release.
Set within the enigmatic Oldest House, the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, FBC: Firebreak offers a fresh take on gameplay from the studio famed for its gripping action title, Control. Remedy is steering towards engaging gameplay this time, emphasizing a live-service format that sidesteps the typical fear of missing out. What’s particularly noteworthy is that all content will be free, and players can enjoy it at their leisure without any rush.
In the game’s latest trailer, viewers get a glimpse of the Paper Chase Job, one of the missions in FBC: Firebreak. Here, the Firebreak Initiative faces the quirky task of dealing with an invasion of rogue sticky notes in a section of The Oldest House. The trailer also showcases the different loadouts available to combat the ever-present Hiss threat.
Upon its release, FBC: Firebreak will be accessible on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through both the Epic Games Store and Steam.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, as the Game Catalog will also feature three other titles at launch: Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Blue Prince, and Abiotic Factor. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can dive into the first part of Lost Records right now, with its sequel part expected to drop next month.
Additionally, PS Plus members can enjoy early access to the PS Store’s Spring Sale, offering fantastic discounts on popular games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Grab these deals while they’re hot!
