While it’s technically an announcement about an upcoming development update video, it’s safe to say that a comprehensive briefing on game changes, especially concerning Jinx, and the details of the next Alpha Lab test are on their way.
This exciting tidbit comes straight from Ben Forbes, the editor-in-chief for 2XKO, who took to Twitter to spill the beans. He excitedly shared, “We just filmed the next 2XKO update! Although we’re still in the midst of editing, production, and localizing everything, here’s a sneak peek of what to expect: An in-depth look at our gameplay changes since Alpha Lab 1 (including Jinx!), additional context and info on Alpha Lab 2, and even a showmatch featuring the dev team.”
The tweet didn’t stop there. He went on to add, “This update dives quite deep, and as a result, the video is on the lengthy side, probably around an hour or so. We’re planning to release it in the last week of March. We’re not ready for the grand stage of PowerPoint livestreams just yet, but someday…”
Before your excitement reaches fever pitch, it’s important to note that Ben clarified there wouldn’t be any new character reveals in this update. So perhaps hold off on any wild speculations for now.
Reflecting on the past year, the 2XKO team bid us farewell with a promise of more details to come in February.
